We will meet at Jubilee Hall at 9.45am for car sharing. The estimated travel time is 35 minutes. However, if you plan to go direct please let Martin know and also try to fill your car, as we may be short of transport.

There are toilets on site but no cafe.

It is suggested that we go to "The Smisby Arms" in the village for a pub lunch at approximately 12.30pm. Lunch is served from 12 noon until 2pm. Martin will pre-book tables at the pub, so please ensure you let Martin know if you wish him to reserve a place for you.

The 9 acre arboretum has been planted over the last 30 years with fairly level mowed grass paths, only muddy if we get a wet autumn.

The cost of entry is £5 per person. However, RHS members have free access to the arboretum. Please note Martin will need your membership number prior to the visit to speed up group entry into the gardens.
