Members of the group meet at Hollywood Bowling's coffee shop at 10.00am, with the game starting at 10.15am.

The group is open to all members, there is no need to book and there is no limit to the number of players. So come along and have fun. The group attracts both playing members and some spectators.

A ramp to play the ball is available for those who have mobility issues. Should you need more personal support then your carer is welcome to join in a game.

Each game consists of 10 frames, each player delivers 2 balls in the first 9 frames unless a strike is scored. On the 10th frame a player delivers 3 balls if a strike or spare is scored.

With 8 players to each lane a game takes between 45 and 60 minutes. The lanes are fully automatic including a digital score card which displays your progress with a printout available after the game for those wishing to frame it for posterity!

The concessionary price is £3.80 per game which is paid to the Group Leader on arrival.

The group normally gathers in the coffee shop after the game to chat and review the game.
