This is a mixed ability group which walks twice a month locally. The distance is usually between 2.5 and 4.5 miles, with an aim to be a pleasurable rather than arduous walk.
Car sharing is encouraged, but for anyone who does not drive, a lift from Anstey can always be organised. There is usually a planned stop at a coffee shop or pub at the end or enroute!
Walks have included Thornton Reservoir, Ratcliffe on the Wreake, Mountsorrel and the River Soar, Sence Valley and our latest discovery, Nailstone Platinum Jubilee Country Park.
