Farmway, Willoughby Waterleys

Address:Church Farm Lane
Willoughby Waterleys
Leicester
LE8 6UD

Farmway has a garden of approximately a quarter of an acre, split into two parts. To the front of the house is an ornamental fish pond with water lilies and a variety of marginal plants. This is surrounded by an immaculate lawn. On one side stands a tall holly tree with an American Pillar rose climbing through. There are wide borders with herbaceous perennials.
To the rear the garden is set out on a gentle slope at the top of which is a patio area which is home to a large number of container plants. The patio leads down to a circular paved area surrounded by natural planting. The whole length of one side of the garden is given over to a mixed bed of perennials and shrubs, colour themed into a rainbow. On the opposite side of the garden there is a lavender walk behind which is a trellis screen with roses and clematis. The screen separates the main garden from the vegetable area. At the bottom of the slope there is a white border. Featured on BBC Gardeners World in July 2022.
