Staunton Harold Nurseries & Garden Centre was purchased in 1990 and at the time it was simply a nursery selling the plants grown there. Now it has been developed into an extensive garden centre selling a huge selection of unusual varieties of plants, gifts, furniture and more. Found in the heart of the garden centre is the Peach House Restaurant where freshly made meals and snacks are served each day. Both the garden centre and restaurant are fully accessible by wheelchair users.
The garden centre is situated in the walled gardens behind the historic Staunton Harold Hall, adjacent to the Ferrers Centre for Arts & Crafts and Staunton Harold Church, making Staunton Harold a great destination for a day out. It is also only 3 miles from Calke Abbey, a National Trust property well worth a visit.
Parking is FREE for all visitors to the garden centre within the garden centre car parks. There is a charge in the Staunton Harold Estate car park at weekends and bank holidays if visiting the other attractions only.
